— Our Story

I Won't Settle. My Eyewear Shouldn't Either

Eyeglasses and sunglasses built to the specification of the world's luxury houses — sold directly, at a third of the price. That is the whole idea.

The Gap

Luxury eyewear costs what it does because of how many hands it passes through.

India offered two choices and nothing between them — mass-market frames at ₹2,000 that feel exactly like ₹2,000, or luxury-branded frames at ₹20,000 that feel premium mostly because of what's printed on the temple arm. We removed every hand in between.

₹20K+
What a logo costs you

The material is a fraction of that price. The rest is brand infrastructure you pay for.

Six
Hands before yours

Exporter, importer, national distributor, regional distributor, retailer — each one adds a margin.

One
Workshop to you

No licensing fee, no imported showroom, no distributor tier. One price, always.

The Founders

Built by people who wore the problem.

Augussto wasn't conceived in a boardroom. It came from a frustration every quality-conscious buyer in India knows intimately.

"If the material is the same and the build is the same, why is the price four times higher? The answer was never the eyewear. It was everything around it."

The Augussto Standard

Three things we hold to, without exception.

01

Luxury-grade materials

The same acetate and German hinges the leading houses use. Not a version of it — the same specification, because our customer can tell the difference.

02

Built for the long view

The frame holds its colour. The hinge stays calibrated. It fits the same on day one thousand as it did on day one.

03

We don't walk away after the sale

30-day returns and a lifetime warranty that means something. Frame breaks? 50% off your next pair. Our relationship starts at checkout — it doesn't end there.
